Background
House Sitting And More, LLC was started by Linda Glover Rogers and Athena Sweeney Chavez, with the mission to take care of homes and pets when the homeowners cannot be there. Our approach to house sitting and pet sitting sets us apart from other service providers. While you can select from a standard set of services, we welcome the opportunity to develop a customized package just for you. We have access to a broad range of complimentary services and will take on the challenge to meet your individual needs, no matter how complex, unusual, big, or small.
Both of us have a long history of providing high quality customer service in demanding situations. We both retired from long careers as executives in customer service oriented businesses. In addition to her involvement in House Sitting And More, Linda is a principal owner in a home remodeling company. This connection gives us easy access to qualified contractors at reasonable prices.
Both of us had situations that took us away from home for extended periods of time - Athena on a four month vacation and Linda on work assignments that required her to be out of the country for six months at a time. Daily activities like keeping the thermostat set to the right temperature, driving the family car to keep it in good working condition, and handling the mail became major challenges.
While we each had unique requirements, there were many common themes. Both of us were concerned about security; both of us relied on friends and family to take care of things but felt uncomfortable about the extra burden; and both of us spent extra dollars as a result of being away. In addition, we both had pets and felt that the only acceptable choice was to take the pets with us. That turned out to be a stressful and expensive experience. When we couldn’t find a better solution, we decided to create one.

Products - Any products purchased directly from House Sitting And More can be returned within 7 business days of receipt of order for a full refund if item(s) are in new, perfect, unaltered condition. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Credits are processed promptly upon receipt of items to the original card used. Depending on your credit card billing cycle closing date, this could take up to 2 billing cycles to clear.
Services - House Sitting And More will consider partial or full refunds for services performed if it is shown that the expected services were not performed or were performed in an inferior manner.
