While we offer a basic set of services, we also recognize that each homeowner comes to us with unique and special needs and we welcome the opportunity to develop a customized package just for you.  We offer a broad range of services and we are ready to take care of your individual needs, no matter how complex, unusual, big, or small.  And through our personal travel as well as our business, we have gained significant knowledge about the do’s and don’ts of being away from home.  We can help you avoid costly repairs and take necessary steps to reduce the risk of vandalism, theft, and loss.  

We always start by walking through your home with you and making sure we understand your requirements and any unusual circumstances.    We also take this opportunity to get lists of your contractors, keys, security codes, and other items we will need.

You will have a mature, professional home manager to monitor your home and provide a single point of contact for all your needs. This eliminates the need for you to go to one person to check on your home and another person to handle emergencies.

The basic package is designed to take care of your home when the you are away for one to two weeks.  This package includes regular checks of your house and property, ensuring security systems are set, windows and doors are locked, the thermostat and sprinkler systems are properly set, indoor lighting is rotated, window treatments are adjusted, watering plants (up to 10) and performing a variety of other services that are appropriate.  See the Basic House Sitting Services.

We provide additional services like watering special outdoor plants, coordinating contractors, house cleaning, lawn maintenance, mail management, and driving your car to keep it in good working condition, etc.  We will review these items when we walk through your home and agree on any optional services you want us to perform.  We can also make your departure and return easy by taking care of last minute details like cleaning the kitchen, unloading the refrigerators, and attending to a number of other items that need attention.   We will even provide transportation to and from the airport.  

For homeowners with pools, we will empty filter baskets, monitor the water level of the pool and add water if needed, monitor the appearance of the pool, and contact the pool service if, based on a visual check, the pool appears to need servicing.

For homeowners with pets, we will water and feed the pets, provide any pet-related cleaning services needed like changing the kitty litter, walking them if requested, and watching for any changes in their health that might warrant a visit to the vet. We will care for your dogs, cats, birds and fish. Other types of pets will be considered on a case by case basis.   If we see anything that appears to need attention, we will contact you and take any agreed actions.  In the event of an emergency, we will make sure your pet gets to your veterinarian.  See Pet Sitting Services.
